Applications on the prescribed Proforma, in sealed
covers, are invited for the following posts under the Government of Himachal
Pradesh so as to reach the Secretary, Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services
Selection Board, Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh) PIN-177001 on or before
15.10.2012.

Qualification:
(i) Graduation in Science from a recognized
University.
Desirable:

Public
Works Department Junior Engineer (Electrical)
Qualification:
(i) Should have passed Matriculation/Higher
Secondary Part-1 or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University. (ii)
Diploma/Degree in the trade of Mechanical/ Automobile/ Production/Aeronautical
or Marine Engineering or its equivalent from an Institution/University duly
recognized by the Central or State Government.

Qualification:

Qualification:

State Electricity Board Limited Computer Operator
Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer
Application/Information Technology/Computer Science or its equivalent from a recognized
University or from an institution duly recognized by the HP/Central Govt. OR 03
years Diploma course in Computer Science/Information Technology or its
equivalent from a Polytechnic Institute duly recognized by the HP/Central Govt.
OR Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University; and
Diploma of at least one year duration in Data Entry Operation/Computer
Application/Computer Programming or its equivalent from a recognized university
or from an institute duly recognized by the HP/Central Govt. OR “O” LEVEL
Course from DOEACC Society.

Fire
Services Department Station Fire Officer
Qualification:
i) At least Matriculation Examination from a
recognized University/Board or its equivalent or should possess Army Special
Certificate and should have qualified Station Officer’s course from the
National Fire Service College, Nagpur. OR Graduate of the institution of Fire
Engineers (India) New Delhi. ii) Should have served as a Sub Fire Officer in a
Fire Station run by the Govt./Public Undertaking/ Municipal Corporation
/Municipal committee for at least 5 years. Relaxation in the case of candidates
having passed B. E. (Fire Engineering) Degree From the National Fire Service
College Nagpur. iii) Minimum Physical Standard :- Height=155 cm, Chest=80 cm
with expansion up to 85 cm , Eyesight 6/6 without glasses, Weight 42 Kgs.
Desirable:
i) Should be Graduate in Science. ii) Knowledge of customs, manners and
dialects of H. P. and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions

P. State Electricity Board Limited Superintendent
Qualification:
i) B. Com. or B. com (Hons.).
Desirable

i) Master Degree in Management (Finance) or Commerce or Financial Management.

appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
Age
Limit : The applicant should be between 18 to 45 years as
on 01-01-2012.
Mode
of Selection : Written Test
1. The candidate must apply on the prescribed
Application form costing Rs. 320/- (For General Category) and Rs. 110/- (for
reserved categories) obtainable from the Post Offices/ Sub-Post Offices and
other authorized Sale Agents situated at various district head quarters and
towns of H.P.
2. Separate Application form should be used for each
post code & only one Application may be sent in one envelope.
3. The Application form should be filled in by the
candidate in his/her own handwriting with blue/black ink ball point pen.
4. The candidate must fulfill all the required
essential educational and other qualifications mentioned against each code on
the last date fixed for the submission/receipt of application forms.
5. The candidate shall write his/her name as per the
matriculation certificate in the relevant column of the application form.
6. Incomplete application forms e. g. declaration
not signed, without photo and enclosures i. e. Acknowledgement Card, window
envelope etc. not attached and columns not filled in or applications received
after the due date shall be rejected summarily without assigning any reason.
No change of
category at any stage shall be allowed.
The validity
of IRDP/BPL certificate is of six months from the date of its issuance. The
candidates are required to
furnish the valid certificate in support of his/her
claim. The validity of the certificate is required to be seen at the
time of interview.
The
candidates must fill in the relevant sub columns of column No.17 of application
form for educational, professional, technical and other required qualifications
as per advertisement of the concerned post code.
