01.Assistant
Executive Engineer
Essential:
A 1st Class Bachelor’s Degree, OR equivalent in the field of Electrical
Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering, with relevant experience of three years.
02.Assistant
Engineers
Essential:
[For Civil]: 1st Class Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engg. + 01 year relevant
experience, OR Recognized Diploma in Civil Engg. of 03 Years duration with 10
years experience of Civil construction works and its maintenance.
03.Junior
Engineers
Essential:
[For Civil]: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering + 01 year relevant
experience, OR Diploma in Civil Engineering of 03 Years duration with 03 years
field experience. Knowledge of computer applications. [For Electrical]: Bachelor’s
Degree in Electrical Engineering + 01 year relevant experience, OR Diploma in
Electrical Engineering of 03 Years duration with 03 years field experience.
Knowledge of computer applications.
Mode
of Appointments: For the post of Assistant Executive
Engineer on regular basis, or standard deputation terms, and for all other
posts on regular basis/ deputation/ contract basis for 5 years (likely to be
confirmed, subject to noteworthy performance). The Institute follows
reservation norms as per GOI rules.
Age:
For Group-A Post (Sl. No. 01) preferably below 50 years, Group-B Posts (Sl. No.
02 to 03) - 25 to 40 years. Relaxation in age would be admissible as per
Central Government Rules. Regular employees of IITs who are educationally
qualified and otherwise eligible can be considered for the recruitment up to a
maximum of 50 years of age.
Applications should be accompanied with a
non-refundable demand draft of Rs. 100/- for the post at Sl.No.01 & Rs.
50/- for the posts at Sl.No.02 & 03, drawn in favour of “THE REGISTRAR, IIT
KANPUR” payable at KANPUR. The issuing date of demand draft should be within
the duration of Advertisement. Demand Draft will not be refunded or re-adjusted
under any circumstances. No other mode of payment will be accepted; and such applications
will be rejected forthright and the payment made shall stand forfeited. SC/ST
and Physically Handicapped candidates are not required to submit the demand
draft.
Incomplete applications/ without relevant supporting
enclosures/ without prescribed demand draft/ application not on prescribed form
will be out rightly rejected. Institute will not be responsible for any postal
delay. Interim correspondence will not be entertained or replied to. Only
Post-qualification experience will be considered as on the closing date for
receipt of applications. Prescribed application form can be obtained, free of
cost, either in person or by sending a self-addressed envelope of 28 cm x 12 cm
size bearing postage stamp of Rs.10/-. The prescribed application form and
