The University is Announced  for Research Assistant/ Data Entry Operator/ Professional Assistant/ Library Assistant/ Attendant Recruitment for Different Vacancies - B.A/B.Com, B.Arch/M.Arch, B.E./M.E, B.Ed/M.Ed, B.Sc/M.Sc, B.Tech/M.Tech, M.Pharma/B.Pharma, BCA/MCA, Post Graduate. The Applications are invited from the eligible women candidates for the following positions on tenure basis for the Department of Women’s Studies under 200 Point Tamil Nadu Government Reservation Norms.

Research Assistant

Qualification:

Ø  Post Graduate degree in Women’s Studies/Social Sciences/Computer Science with 2 years Research experience in Women Development Projects

Data Entry Operator

Qualification:

Ø  BCA/B.Sc. Computer Science/B.Sc.(IT) (or) Any Degree with Computer Application (or) Any Degree with Diploma in Computer Applications (DCA) Should have a speed not less than 8000 key depressions per hour for data entry work (or) typewriting English Lower.

Professional Assistant

Qualification:

Ø  A Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University

Ø   Typewriting higher grade in Tamil and English

Ø  Knowledge of Tamil to extent of carrying official correspondence and drafting reports

Library Assistant

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with certificate in Library Science

Attendant

Qualification:

•   Minimum general Educational  Qualification. i.e. High secondary
•  Knowledge of Tamil
•  Knowledge of Typewriting (Tamil & English)

The prescribed application forms along with the instructions and the eligibility conditions can be had from the Registrar, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore 641 046 by paying the fees as detailed below in the form of Challan/Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore from 29.01.2013.

The posts are only for the XII Plan Period (upto 31.03.2017) Tenure basis on Consolidated Pay and it is likely to be extended. Applications along with other details can also be downloaded from “RECRUITMENT COLUMN” of the University Website: www.b-u.ac.in from 29.01.2013 onwards. The candidates who have downloaded the application form from the University Website are requested to pay Rs.200/- in the form of Demand Draft/Challan towards the cost of application along with the Registration Fee as given in the instructions.
